Description

Always a garden favorite, this is a short-lived perennial that will usually self-seed for many years. Plants form a low mound of felted silvery-grey leaves, bearing upright stems in summer with loads of bright magenta-pink to red flowers. Attractive to butterflies. Seedlings that form may be easily moved in spring or early fall. Foliage often needs to be tidied in early spring. Drought tolerant once established. Flowers are great for cutting.
