Lenten Rose is a shade-loving perennial with dark green, evergreen foliage. It blooms late winter, often when there is still snow on the ground. Merlin is noted for its outward-facing, light pink to pink flowers mature to a deep cranberry. Flowers are long-lasting when cut for fresh arrangements. When blooming, remove previous year's leaves to give a more neat appearance and to show off the flowers better.
