Rose of Sharon is a classic, old-fashioned landscape plant. Single, blue-violet flowers with a lacy center cover this midsummer bloomer from July through August, a time of year when few shrubs bloom. An excellent choice for screening and privacy. Best if grown in full sun, Rose of Sharon is very drought tolerant once established.
