Blueberry ‘Jelly Bean’
Description
Large, super-sweet blueberries are produced in abundance in mid-summer. Brilliant green new foliage emerges in spring which gives way to darker green leaves with hues of red through summer and into fall. This is an exceptional dwarf form that makes a great little hedge or stand-alone plant, perfect for patio containers. Self-fertile. Best grown in partial shade.
Pruning: This blueberry produces new canes each season and fruits on new canes. Once fruiting is complete, prune canes that have fruited leaving new canes to fruit the next season. Annual pruning during dormancy promotes plant growth and berry production.
