Description
Berry Smoothie is a clump-forming coral bells hybrid noted for its rose-pink leaves that gradually darken with age to purplish-pink. Its foliage retains good color throughout the growing season and is essentially evergreen in warmer winter climates but the amount of foliage color retained in cold weather climates depends in large part on the severity of the temperatures. Small, soft pink flowers borne in open, airy panicles appear in late spring to early summer on slender, wiry stems rising above the foliage mound, typically 24-28″ tall. Best when grown in sun or partial shade.
