Description
Foamy Bells are a cross between Heuchera (Coral Bells) and Tiarella (Foamflower), combining the best traits of each genus; the dramatic colored leaves of Heuchera and the plant’s habit along with the deeply lobed leaves and the tendency to sport red variegation at the center of each leaf from Tiarella. Warm shades of orange seasoned with cinnamon brown best describe this bold, large-leaved foamy bells. Its coloring darkens in summer and lightens in fall. By late spring, bell-shaped white blooms on slender stems have topped the foliage and remain in the summer. Dense, vigorous and very tolerant of heat and humidity. Hummingbirds visit these blooms religiously!
