Description
Lungworts are among the most dependable and showy spring-blooming perennials for shady locations. This selection has clusters of pink to blue bells over a lush mound of green leaves, heavily spotted with silver. Cut plants back to 3 inches after blooming, to rejuvenate the foliage. Evergreen in mild winter regions. Good resistance to powdery mildew. Plants prefer a rich, moist soil without the competition of surface-rooted trees. Clumps are easily divided in early autumn. More sun tolerant that most other selections, particularly in cool summer regions.
