Description
The Moon Cactus is actually two separate cacti grafted together. The top, colorful graft comes from Gymnocalycium while the rootstock comes from another cactus, such as Hylocereus. The colorful Gymnocalycium is a mutant and unable to photosynthesize, and therefore requiting nutrients from another cacti. An easy to grow option for beginners, it does best in a bright, sunny location.
