Use the fresh or dried leaves of Puerto Rican Oregano as a spice in Caribbean cuisine. Add it to meat or fish, pizzas, stuffings, stews, soups or salads. This herb is sun loving with weeping branches and stands well in heat and severe drought. Can be grown as a container houseplant.
Best in well-drained soils.
Small glossy green leaves.
Tiny white flowers bloom late summer.
