Citronella
Description
Citronella’s distinctive odor may drive away some insects, while preventing others from identifying a host. Citronella is a member of the geranium family, and carries the fragrance of citrus in its foliage. The plant itself does not act as a deterrent to the pests, but when leaves are crushed and the oil is rubbed on the skin, it may help with pesky mosquitos.
