Flavorful and fragrant, ‘Growers Friend’ is a Culinary Sage known for great flavor and easy growing. It rarely flowers, making it a perfect addition to the home herb garden.
Leaves are tasty in meat, poultry, fish, pastas, stuffings and vegetable dishes as well as baked goods. This perennial sage needs full sun, little watering and average garden soil containing enough organic matter to drain well. Aside from being heat- and drought-tolerant, it withstands winter cold down to Zone 6.
