The popular trailing Hedera helix ivy is a woody, evergreen vine requiring cool to moderate temps (60 to 70 degrees). They prefer moderately moist soil and best planted with a good potting soil. Water thoroughly when just the soil surface is dry to the touch. Do not allow plant to stand in water. Bright light is the best. English ivy never goes out of fashion!
