Description
An erect annual with small, daisy like flowers, is used to make chamomile tea and possesses a number of medicinal qualities. Chamomile is a good companion plant for basil, wheat, onion, cabbage and cucumbers, as well as increasing the essential oil production of many other herbs it is planted near. Chamomile is known to attract bees, butterflies or birds and has fragrant blossoms. Chamomile self-sows freely; remove flowers (deadhead) if you do not want volunteer seedlings the following season.
