Astilbe ‘Mighty Chocolate Cherry’
Description
Tall, red flower spikes emerge during midsummer to brighten up shade gardens and indoor floral arrangements. Stems and foliage are rich reddish-brown, giving the plant that delicious chocolate cherry appearance for which it is named. Fast growing; cut back the spent flowers for a cleaner look. Prefers average to moist sites, but is tolerant of many soil types.
