Azalea ‘Poukhanense’

SKU: 137880 Categories: , , ,

Description

Compact Korean Azalea or Poukhanense is an evergreen in zones 8 and 9 during mild winters, but deciduous in colder climates, where the dark green foliage turns an attractive red-orange in fall.  If you love the color lavender you’re going to love the 2-inch wide, lightly fragrant flowers that fill this shrub in early spring. Foliage grows densely, making it work as a hedge, in borders, or a mass planting and thrives in the dappled sunlight of a woodland garden.
