Calathea ‘Zebrina’ 6in

Description

Sometimes called a Zebra Plant, Calathea zebrina is another member of the Prayer Plant family, meaning it’s strikingly-colored leaves fold up at night and back down in the morning. This variety has velvety patterned ovate leaves which are light green in color with darker green stripes, like Zebra stripes. The underside of the leaves are purple and not always visible because leaves grow horizontally. Medium to bright, indirect light is best, and be sure to keep out of direct sunlight. Allow the top of the soil to become just slightly dry between waterings. Do not allow it to become too dry, as browning of the leaf tips can occur, but also do not allow the soil to become too wet and soggy.
