Magnolia ‘Susan’ is perfect for small gardens. Blooming in mid to late spring, the flowers are fragrant, narrow goblet-shaped, reddish-purple with a paler inside. Blooming about 2-4 weeks later than the early varieties of Magnolia, they usually escape potential damage to their flowers from late frosts. The medium-green leaves will turn a golden-yellow in fall. Plant in full sun for the best floral display.
