Description
Stephanotis is a very aromatic, star shaped, white flower with lovely dark green glossy leaves. The perfume of the stephanotis resembles the jasmine bloom on climbing vines. A vigorous grower, it can be trained to vine on a trellis or ring. Blooming occurs in summer months but, can be induced in winter with the control of temperature and light. Stephanotis prefers cooler temperatures and does not tolerate change of position, especially after buds set. Spider mites, mealybugs, aphids and scale can be problems in a warm location. Keep soil moist at all times, but not soggy Bright light with some sun makes it the happiest!
