Description

As a houseplant, Inchplant, also known as Wandering Jew, (Tradescantia) has been judged exceptionally effective at improving indoor air quality!  It does so via a process know as phytoremediation.  This is the filtering out of “Volatile organic compounds” “http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Volatile_organic_compounds”. Volatile organic compounds, a class of common pollutants and respiratory irritants…our new best friend!  The pointed oval, purple-green leaves are interesting and add some wonderful color to any interior.
