Description
The leaves of Alocasia cuprea have a coppery-green color with purple undersides and have a rigid, plastic-like look. Bright light is important to maintain the color of the leaves, but do not expose to direct sunlight for extended periods of time. A little more sensitive to moisture than other Alocasia species, try to avoid soaking the soil when watering- instead attempt to water without soaking deeply. On the other hand, be sure to not underwater the plant either. A consistent schedule of light waterings is best for this plant.
