Begonia maculata

$19.99

Description

Also known as the Polka Dot Begonia, Begonia maculata is a type of angel winged Begonia, and a real show-stopper with fantastic olive-green leaves and contrasting silvery spots. Each leaf is long and pointed, and generally shaped like that of an angel’s wing, and in addition to the beautiful topside, the underside is a contrasting crimson color. Sprays of pinkish or white, open bell-like flowers with yellow centers bloom, adding to the interest of this plant. Bright, indirect light is preferred, but be sure to keep out of direct sunlight. Keep the soil generally moist, allowing just the top half-inch to dry out between waterings, but to not allow the soil to become soggy.
