An extremely hardy variety that is a good choice for northern climates. ‘Wintergreen’ is one of the hardiest of the broadleaf evergreens, (especially for northern climates) with a small rounded and compact growth habit. It is perfect for low hedges and takes pruning and shearing exceptionally well. Very similar to ‘Winter Gem’ and ‘Faulkner’ varieties of Boxwoods.
