Raymond Evison Clematis – Chevalier

Extremely free-flowering with velvet-purple, star-shaped flowers maturing to mid-blue. Ideal for combing with silver or golden-leaved evergreens. Excellent on walls, pergolas, archways or growing through shrubs such as roses.

Care: Prefers well-drained, high organic moist soil. Water regularly when dry. Roots prefer to be kept cool, so shading from other plants works well.
