Elderberry ‘Black Lace’
Description
Black Lace is a cultivar of European elderberry. It is particularly noted for its deeply cut dark purple foliage, its lemon-scented, pink flowers and its dark blackish-red elderberries. Fruits of species plants have been used to make jams and jellies, but are not considered to be as flavorful as the American elderberry (Sambucus canadensis). Fruits are attractive to wildlife.
