Hosta ‘Humpback Whale’
Description
This long sought after jumbo variety is now in commercial production. Humpback Whale once brought an auction price of $725 for a fund raiser. Plants form a monster size dome of blue-green heart shaped, corrugated leaves. The color is best in cool weather and as the heat of summer sets in the leaves will transition to more of a green. Produces lavender flowers in midsummer.
