Description

The Corn Plant is in the same family as the Dragon Tree (Dracaena). Its complete scientific name, Dracaena fragrans, hints to its rare amazingly scented blooming. It is often grown with a thick stalk known as a cane, and boasts long, pointed, lance-like green leaves, often with a central yellow stripe. It grows best in bright light. Water when the top half of the soil is dry to the touch, and avoid letting the soil become soggy.
