‘Garnet’ is a variety of Japanese Maple first introduced in the 1960’s and is one of the top selling varieties in the world to this day. Garnet has the lacy foliage of many Japanese Maples, but the leaves are orange-red in Spring, turning to garnet-red, then turning an even brighter shade of red in fall.
