Lenten Rose ‘Ivory Prince’
Description
Lenten Rose is a shade-loving perennial with dark green, evergreen foliage. It blooms late winter, often when there is still snow on the ground. Ivory Prince is noted for its burgundy-pink flower buds, which open to outward-facing, cup-shaped creamy-white flowers with overlapping petals that bloom atop reddish stems. Flowers acquire pink tones with age. Flowers are long-lasting when cut for fresh arrangements. When blooming, remove previous year’s leaves to give a more neat appearance and to show off the flowers better.
