Description
Emerging pinkish-red in spring, the palmately leaved lobed leaves darken to green, heavily flushed with red in summer before turning purple-red in fall. Small, attractive purple flowers appear in spring followed by winged red seeds in fall. A relatively vigorous ornamental tree. Best grown in full or partial sun in moist, organically-rich, well-draining soil.
