Description
Eastern White Pine is a fast-growing, long-lived native evergreen tree. Bluish-green needles up to 5 inches long are soft to the touch, overall giving the tree a fluffy appearance. Pyramidal growth habit when young, it will eventually mature to a broad oval form. It can be sheared to maintain a smaller, dense form or to even create a hedge. Will produce cylindrical, brown cones once the tree is 5-10 years of age. Plant in full sun to partial shade.
