Description
Plump solid crimson red stalks set this rhubarb apart for being one of the most flavorful on the market today.
Do not harvest rhubarb the year you plant your crowns, remove any seed stalks that appear as they reduce the vigor of the plant. A light harvest may be taken the second year and by the third season all stalks that are 1 inch in diameter or larger may be harvested over a period of 6-8 weeks. Rhubarb cannot compete with weeds or grass.
