Description
The String of Hearts plant is an evergreen, trailing succulent vine that is easy to care for, attractive and very unique! Long-lived and fast-growing, the vines can hang down for several feet once they mature. The heart-shaped, grey-green leaves have an attractive marbled pattern and the thin vines are a distinctive shade of purple. Not big and showy, the pale magenta flowers are still interesting enough as they grow to be about an inch long, tubular with a bulbous base and form into enclosed beads, giving this plant another of it’s common names- the rosary vine. Bright but indirect light will be best for this plant, and be sure to let the soil dry in between waterings, then give a deep watering. Do not let the String of Hearts sit in water.
