Description
Jonagold is one of the finest eating and cooking apples to ripen in the fall. The red-over-yellow fruit is large, with juicy yellow-white flesh. The flavor is very similar to Jonathan. Jonagold Apples will keep for several months, but will tend to get waxy and softer if held too long. A pollinator is needed for best fruit production, but do not use Yellow (Golden) Delicious.
