Azalea Evergreen ‘Stewartsonian’
This densely branched dwarf form evergreen azalea is a popular landscape choice. The vivid red blooms cover the plant and contrast nicely with the medium green foliage in May. Foliage color changes to a wine-red in the fall and winter. It tolerates shady locations, but grows best in partial sun.

Prefers average to moist, well-drained acidic soil, rich in organic matter. Water regularly during the first growing season to establish a deep root system. Evergreens prefer an acidic fertilizer.
