Description

The Dwarf Fothergilla is a compact slow-growing shrub with a dense, mounded habit. It has fragrant, bottlebrush-like spikes of ivory-white flowers in spring. Leathery, dark green leaves will turn brilliant shades of red, orange and yellow in fall, extending its season of interest. Excellent when planted en masse or used in borders and foundation plantings. Mixes easily with Rhododendrons, as both typically share the same soil requirements. Best located in full or partial sun.
