Description
Strong, upright stems hold small, toothed green leaves that carry a heavy lime scent. Darkly marked lavender flowers. This compact plant is excellent for containers and can be grown indoors as a houseplant in a sunny window. Leaves can be used for ice cream, poached friuts or herbal iced tea. You can flavor sugar by layering sugar and ‘Frosted’ leaves in a jar for 3 to 4 weeks. Also, you can dry the leaves for use in potpourri.
