Magnolia, Sweet Bay
$99.99 – $209.99
Description
The Sweet Bay Magnolia is a semi-evergreen tree (in milder climates) that is native to the southeastern US. This medium-sized tree has cup-shaped, sweetly scented (lemony) flowers that are about 2-3 inches in diameter that appear late May-June and last for well over a month, continuing sporadically through summer. Cone-like fruits with bright red seeds mature in fall and can also be very showy. Sweet Bay Magnolias prefer full sun and can tolerate wet, boggy locations, unlike most other Magnolias.
