Monstera adonsonii

Description

Nicknamed the Swiss Cheese Vine, this relative of the popular large-leaved Monstera deliciosa is a fast-growing vining plant that loves to climb. The perforated, pointed leaves have oblong holes in them, lending to it being known as the Swiss Cheese Vine. Bright, indirect light is best, though this plant will also tolerate lower light conditions although it will grow more slowly and have smaller leaves than if it had been grown in brighter conditions. Allow the soil to almost completely dry out between watering, though it will need more frequent watering than its larger-leaf counterpart due to having thinner leaves which hold less moisture.
