Curly Parsley is an attractive, bright-green, well-branched, compact plant that makes a fine border or edging plant. It has finely cut, tight curled leaves with a strong aroma and flavor. Curly parsley makes a gorgeous edging along garden beds and is attractive planted with flowers and in container gardens. In organic gardens, parsley flowers attract beneficial insects. Parsley can be dried or frozen. Parsley has many valuable nutrients including beta-carotene, calcium, iron, and Vitamins A and C in an easily assimilated form. Parsley has a pleasant flavor and is often used as a breath freshener particularly after eating raw garlic and onions. As a culinary it goes with everything except sweets. Parsley is both an attractive garnish and a healthy addition to many recipes.
