One of the most colorful Spireas available, Magic Carpet is a compact, low-growing form with red new growth that fades through orange to a chartreuse green with age. Deep pink flower clusters cover the plant in June and will repeat bloom through the season, especially when sheared after the initial bloom. Very tolerant of a variety of soil conditions.

Prefers average to moist, well-drained soil, rich in organic matter. Water regularly during the first growing season to establish a deep root system.
Rounded, compact habit.
Leaves begin red, aging through orange to chartreuse green, then turning shades of red in fall.
Deep pink flower clusters bloom in May-June.
