Description
The common name, String of Turtles comes from the resemblance that the leaves bear to turtle shells, that gently hang from long vines. A great indoor plant for beginners, mostly because it prefers a bit of neglect and is somewhat forgiving. String of Turtles is adaptable and can handle medium to bright, indirect light. Being that the String of Turtles is actually a succulent, it likes to wait a bit between waterings. Let the soil mostly, but not completely, dry out before giving the plant a drink, and do not let the plant sit in water ever.
