Description
Golden Lemon Thyme is similar to Lemon Thyme, but taller. It has green leaves ringed in yellow that emit a startlingly citrus aroma that is particularly tasty with fish. Unlike Lemon Basil and other lemon-scented herbs, Golden Lemon Thyme is best somewhat cooked, since the leaves are not quite as tender nor large; also, it has hint of thyme flavor, which is best in cooked dishes. However, many people love it in salads. Try adding it to marinades for poultry. Honeybees love the pale purple flowers of this thyme plant.
