Description
Known as the Raven ZZ Plant or Black Raven ZZ Plant, this exciting new variation was first introduced in 2019 as a black-leaved version of its green-leaf counterpart, the ZZ Plant. Black Raven’s leaves are thick, glossy and amazingly black when provided good, bright, indirect light. The new leaves will emerge lime green before eventually turning black like the older leaves, usually taking about 6-8 weeks to completely do so. It can survive in darker conditions too, thought the coloration may not be quite as intense. Water only when the top couple inches of soil feels dry to the touch. Allow water to completely drain through and do not let the plant sit in water at any time.
