Description
The Honeycrisp Apple is highly prized and is one of the most vigorous and hardy of apple trees. Its fruit is mottled red over yellow with and exceptionally crisp and juicy texture. Blooms mid-April and fruit ripens mid-September, although it develops its full aromatic flavor if left on the tree until mid-October. Makes a good pollinator, heavier fruit set of another variety is available to cross-pollinate with. A semi-dwarf variety. Great fresh-eating apple with excellent storage life.
