Description
The Red Delicious Apple has heart-shaped fruit that is bright red and crunchy with a mildly sweet flavor. Flesh is white or cream colored and firm. Blooms mid-April and requires a pollinator such as ‘Honeycrisp’ for best fruit production. Fruit ripens in mid-September and keeps fresh very well. A semi-dwarf variety. Best eaten raw because of their thick skin.
