Description
Unlike many species of Philodendron, Philodendron gloriosum is not a climbing type, but rather it has a creeping, crawling habit. The large, heart-shaped, velvety leaves have eye-catching white veins and are truly unique. Another appealing feature is that this plant is forgiving, and low-maintenance in nature. Bright, indirect light is optimal, but be sure to keep out of direct sunlight as it can scorch the leaves. Too little light will result in this slow-growing plant not developing well, and will become leggy. Water when the top 2-3 inches of soil dry out, and be sure not to overwater.
