Description
This cultivar is one of the darkest purples of a wisteria, though unlike the name suggests, it is not a black-purple. Blooming at about the same time as the leaves appear in spring, this vigorous vine is loaded with long chains of fragrant, double blooms. Regular pruning is needed to maintain its shape and to promote best flowering. Best grown in full sun.
